Your impact will be the greatest in the areas of life where you are most closely connected. The world truly can be transformed, but it requires intentionally starting where you live and making an impact on your own spheres of influence.

Jesus taught us to pray, “On Earth as it is in Heaven.” The Lord strategically placed you where you are now--in your location, relationships, and occupation. He is using all of it to shape your impact on this world.

You can bring change to this world, but you must start at home!

Steward Your Garden

Stewarding our garden is step one to Change the World, Start at Home! Everyone has been given something to steward. Your marriage, kids, family, friends, neighborhood and your workplace are all a part of your garden. We pour into these relationships with intentionality before anything else.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

  • Invite God into your closest relationships to heal any wounds and create new joy
  • Cultivate the presence of God in your home
  • Bring the presence of God to your neighborhood and place of work

Engage Your City

The House Church body represents over 140 cities locally, and several states and nations world wide. Our goal is to empower you to take responsibility where you live. Your city needs laborers like you, to take responsibility and engage the harvest to see people come to know Jesus for themselves. This begins by cultivating the presence of God in your home and inviting the people around you to join you in your journey. Then extend the impact of your relationships into the community around you. When we do this, the light of Jesus shines brightly.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

  • Host the presence of God in your home by inviting Him to dwell with you.
  • Host a small group to worship the Lord and Enthrone Him in your neighborhood.
  • Intentionally connect with your neighbors and community to find out their needs.
  • Prayer walk your neighborhood
  • Take an active role in meeting the needs of your community. Get involved.

Disciple the Nations

The true finish line of Jesus’ commission is that every nation would be discipled into His kingdom’s rule. Each and every family plays a role in this. If we will ask for nations, the Father will give them to us. Our part is to sow into, pray for, and position ourselves to receive the nations when God gives them to us.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

  • As a family, pray and then choose a nation your family will sustain prayer for.
  • Begin to actively look for ways to sow into that specific nation. Give gifts of money and resources to current missionaries in that country.
  • When the Lord connects you with someone from that nation or a missionary, recognize it as the Lord’s will for you to get involved.
  • Be willing to say yes when opportunities arise concerning your nation
  • Organize efforts to reach the nation
