It's Simple and Secure

Why We Give

At The House, we believe generosity is an integral part of who we are as Christ followers. Where we give our money tangibly demonstrates who our God is.

The Bible tells the story of the Israelites, who came to know and walk in God’s ways. It is very clear in the scriptures that they gave offerings to the Lord. In biblical times, tithing was a primary way to demonstrate which god you served. In other words, the god whom you tithe to is the one whom you believe provides for you. You are declaring your true God.

When Abraham tithed 10% of his inheritance to the Lord it finalized which god he was serving. This event marked the beginning of the tithe. In the New Covenant the principle remains. However, it is no longer under obligation to the law, but rather it acts as a demonstration of which god you choose to serve with your labors and fruit of that labor.

Church Giving

Intentionally sowing resources into Another’s ministry. You do this by faith, knowing that you will reap a reward based upon what that person or organization does with your gift.

Church Giving

Gifting 10% of your income. This is the primary way you are declaring who your god is. We encourage you to give your tithe to your local church for the work of their ministry.
